Samsonite recently launched an initiative to improve website performance in order to increase online conversions and provide shoppers with more engaging online experiences. One of the key requirements for the initiative was to find a web optimization solution that was fully compatible with Samsonite’s eCommerce platform, Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Following its acquisition of eBags, a longtime YOTTAA customer, Samsonite began piloting YOTTAA on several of its sites. Through YOTTAA Premium, which is used by many Salesforce Commerce Cloud clients, Samsonite experienced over 30% faster web performance and increased online conversions.

After seeing how YOTTAA accelerated eBags, Samsonite knew the rest of their sites could benefit from this. Optimizing the performance across all sites proved to be beneficial for Samsonite as they saw improvements in both performance and revenue generated online. During a test on one of their sister sites, Samsonite had to shut off YOTTAA for a period of time and the results were simply more validation that YOTTAA was working. While the technology was shut off, the average page speed moved from 3.8 seconds up to 5.7 seconds and their conversion rate during that time dropped 30%.
