As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for driving quality, reliability and operability into our products.  You will be a member of cross-functional development teams that are tasked with building quality into the product from the beginning and throughout DevOps processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement product test strategies, acting as a quality advocate for the product & teams (Engineering and Operations).
  • Participate in the software design and development process as a member on cross-functional product development teams, with a focus on testability, safety and operability.
  • Work with Engineering and Operations stakeholders to understand operational and deployment challenges, analyze gaps and build collaborative solutions.
  • Help architect, design and build CI/CD processes and software tools to improve quality and engineering productivity.
    Lead by example in developing test automation frameworks and test cases in all test layers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in Software Engineering roles with internet & web technologies
  • 5+ years experience developing software with high level languages (i.e. Java, Python, C++, etc)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline architectures and DevOps best practices
  • Proficient in multiple scripting languages and linux shell tools, with a proven ability to learn new programming skills.
  • Experience with Data Engineering architectures and tools (SQL & NoSQL Databases, data pipelines, ETL, analytics)
  • Excellent communication skills & consensus building

The Role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to pursue new business opportunities and support all phases of the Yottaa customer onboarding process from trial to successful go-live
  • Work with key Yottaa partners to successfully onboard their customers to Yottaa
  • Support customer follow-up engagement sessions to drive additional value for customers and ensure reference-ability
  • Help create and document best practices and checklists
  • Provide platform feedback to product management based on customer interaction

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience
  • Strong team player who enjoys working with a sales team to meet customer needs
  • Deep knowledge of HTTP, DNS, Global Server Load Balancing, and TCP/IP
  • Hands on experience with modern web technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS

The Role

Join our growing team! We are seeking a talented Technical Account Manager with the ability to switch seamlessly between troubleshooting with a customer developer and discussing business initiatives with a customer executive. This role is paramount to Yottaa’s Customer Success initiatives to drive adoption and expansion in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Build a collaborative relationship with customers, serving as the primary contact for both business AND technical discussions.
  • Articulate and increase Yottaa’s value realized by customers through sustaining performance gains and identifying further areas for performance improvements.

  • Be part of an on-call rotation for off-hours support.
