Your Role

We’re looking for a proven, SaaS sales “hunter” based in the Chicago-area with experience closing 6 figure deals to join our early stage, fast growing company. Your Mission

  • Aggressively build your own sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and close business
  • Execute high value sales cycles in a well-defined sales process and methodology
  • Target key accounts and prospects, understand their complex organizations, and work with key stakeholders to win
  • Collaborate with internal resources from sales engineers, finance, marketing, and product while quarterbacking successful sales plans
  • Track pipeline and sales activity in Salesforce.com including accurate forecasts
  • Team up with business development reps and marketing to develop territory and enhance pipeline

 

Your Experience

  • Proven experience closing complex sales processes in B2B SaaS
  • Track record of success leading in a “team selling” environment
  • 5+ years selling technology solutions
  • Demonstrated history of being a star performer
  • Comfort and poise selling at the executive level
  • Experience and enthusiasm for hunting for new customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical solutions and make them easy to understand

Sales Development Representative

Overview

Your First 6 Months

  • Execute outbound prospecting at a high pace (60-80 calls/emails per day)
  • Work closely with the team to achieve your monthly goals from qualified outbound prospecting
  • Master and engage prospects with industry knowledge and Yottaa’s value proposition
  • Conduct territory research to identify key accounts, stakeholders, and use high impact messaging
  • Accurately and reliably log activity and account data using Salesforce
  • Team up with Account Executive(s) to develop territory plans and strengthen pipeline

 

6-18 Months

  • Continue growing your career within Sales on the path set for you to carry a quota
  • Work closely with your Account Executives to understand the entire Sales Cycle
  • Maintain consistent prospecting activity while achieving each quarterly quota
  • Train to continue the path within Sales or Management within a Team Lead Role

Daily Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day support for both production and development infrastructure.
  • Ensure all infrastructure is monitored to provide actionable alerting and metrics.
  • Produce both design and operational documentation to be used throughout engineering and operations groups.
  • Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of project work driven by engineering and operations group.
  • Work with engineering and operations to assist in providing both tooling and automation.

 

Requirements:

7+ years of experience configuring and managing Linux systems.
5+ years of experience with XenServer virtualization.
5+ years of experience with Puppet.
5+ years of experience building and supporting a 24×7 production SaaS service within a data center.
5+ years of experience deploying and supporting server and network hardware.
3+ years of experience with Ruby and or Python.
3+ years of experience with Development/CI/CD tools such as GIT, jenkins, GitHub, etc.
3+ years of experience deploying and supporting production Java applications.

 

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Prometheus and grafana monitoring tools.
  • Experience with internet (BGP) peering.

Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack Web

  • Design and develop sophisticated web applications with minimal technical oversight using tools such as Ruby (Rails), React JS, Backbone, HTML5, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in MVC web architecture, design and implementation (expert level knowledge of at least one web application framework, e.g. Rails, Sails, Django, Zend, etc)
  • Significant experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Postgres, Cassandra, etc.); data modeling, performance tuning and data validation techniques
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • A disciplined approach to development, testing, documentation
  • Strong communication skills

 

Bonus Points:

  • Academic background in computer science (BSc or MSc)
  • Experience with React JS, Ruby, Rails/Capistrano/RSpec
  • Excellent sense of visual design, and experience with data visualization techniques
  • Familiarity with CSS Authoring frameworks and bundling packages
