Business Development Representative

Yottaa has designed a Business Development Representative Career Path that is a new and unique opportunity to identify and develop the next generation of sales leaders. This position is an extension of the Yottaa sales teams and is a resource which helps drive revenue through demand generation.

 

The Business Development Representative will participate in a sales training program and activities that develop skill sets surrounding specific technology foundations, Yottaa solution knowledge, sales and “soft” skills. This program is called the Yottaa Sales Training and Enrichment Program (The STEP Program) and has already promoted 50% of the Business Development Representatives since its inception in June 2015.

 

The Business Development Representative will develop the skill set required for a Sales Executive position within Yottaa’s Corporate Sales Team.

Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

 

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building a strong pipeline, driving new customer sales over the phone, and owning the sales cycle from prospecting to close. The Inside Sales Representative will focus primarily on eCommerce opportunities, with an opportunity to build pipeline across diverse industries. Responsibilities will include generating new business through outbound calling, email, inbound inquiries, and marketing/tradeshow events. The ISR will be responsible for articulating Yottaa’s value proposition, generating interest in web acceleration, security and analytics services, and managing sales cycles through closure.

  • Meet or exceed monthly new business and new customer acquisition targets
  • Generate new sales opportunities through aggressive prospecting, networking, and marketing
  • Territory planning in assigned region and prospect research
  • Develop your ‘Why Yottaa, Why Now’ proposition for each call in line with sales and product marketing framework
  • Proactively identify and find new business leads for your territory
  • Manage individual pipeline of opportunities to support monthly & quarterly goals
  • Co-operate with technical field sales to develop industry expertise and collaborate on opportunities
  • Make use of prospecting support tools such as Salesforce, Data.com, and Marketing automation & programs

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Required
    • BA/BS or equivalent professional experience
    • Minimum 2 years experience in an inside sales, prospecting role or customer-facing roles, ideally within Content Delivery Networks, SaaS, or IT
  • Desired
    • Strong skills in identifying opportunities.
    • Experience and understanding of the Internet and related services.
    • Credible experience in and knowledge of eCommerce/Retail, Media & Entertainment, or Hi-Tech industries
    • Strong and self-confident communicator comfortable speaking with Director level and C-Level contacts
    • Proven experience of being persuasive, influential, and professional on the phone

Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

 

We are looking for a motivated, experienced Support professional to help make Yottaa customers successful and to serve as a liaison to the broader technical community.  The ideal candidate should have a successful track record of handling Customer Support issues for Internet delivery services (CDN, DNS, IaaS SaaS), as well as identifying customer needs and designing/selecting services based on those needs.

 

  • Provide front line support to our customers and the community;
  • Provide technical support to sales, marketing and client services teams in addressing customer questions and requirements;
  • Assist customers in configuring, using and testing Yottaa;
  • Document customer interactions and product defects to ensure proper reporting and improved product quality
  • Provide input into design and development of internal tools for reporting and troubleshooting customer issues
  • Help drive a customer centric culture within the company.
  • Create and publish end-user and internal documentation for multiple audiences

 

Requirements:

 

  • 5 years experience supporting SaaS or IaaS-based solutions;
  • Strong technical background in Web development, DNS, hosting and web operations;
  • Strong knowledge in key technologies including HTTP, DNS, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Apache, IIS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and perform triage;
  • Willingness to provide after-hours and on-call support;
  • Desire to see issues/problems through to resolution;
  • Ability to recognize and escalate when needed.
