Your Mission

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets
  • Execute high value sales cycles from hunting prospects through closing contracts
  • Engage prospects with value driven sales process that builds a broad support base within the account
  • Develop and manage a high quality pipeline of opportunities including new business and upsells
  • Track pipeline and sales activity in Salesforce.com including accurate forecasts
  • Team up with business development reps and marketing to develop territory and enhance pipeline
  • Proven experience closing complex sales processes in B2B SAAS
  • Track record of success leading in a “team selling” environment
  • Experience and enthusiasm for hunting for new customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • BS, BA degree or equivalent
  • Experience selling into eCommerce businesses is preferred

Sales Development Representative


Are you looking to expand your career? Are you a self-driven individual who enjoys competition? Do you have previous sales experience or a high interest to start a career in sales? Awesome, let’s talk!


Your First 6 Months

  • Execute outbound prospecting at a high pace (60-80 calls/emails per day)
  • Work closely with the team to achieve your monthly goals from qualified outbound prospecting
  • Master and engage prospects with industry knowledge and Yottaa’s value proposition
  • Conduct territory research to identify key accounts, stakeholders, and use high impact messaging
  • Accurately and reliably log activity and account data using Salesforce
  • Team up with Account Executive(s) to develop territory plans and strengthen pipeline


6-18 Months

  • Continue growing your career within Sales on the path set for you to carry a quota
  • Work closely with your Account Executives to understand the entire Sales Cycle
  • Maintain consistent prospecting activity while achieving each quarterly quota
  • Train to continue the path within Sales or Management within a Team Lead Role

Senior Ruby Software Engineer

  • Expand our use of Rails to scale with our growth using advanced techniques to share code and features across multiple applications, enforcing best practices like TDD.
  • Mentor and develop a team of hungry and excited Ruby developers.
  • Evolve our UI technologies to ensure we are using current and leading front-end frameworks to provide near real time data visualizations and ultimate transparency of our product to our customers.
  • Create sophisticated interfaces for in-browser apps using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, serving B2B customers.
  • Develop web applications using Ruby, Rails, and Java Script, CSS.
  • Continually improve our architecture, design, and development process.
  • Work with product management, marketing and customer support to rapidly iterate on designs in an agile environment.



  • Expertise in Ruby, Rails/Capistrano/RSpec, TDD
  • Familiarity with Java Script, HTML 5, and Java Script MVC frameworks
  • Current and detailed knowledge of browser peculiarities
  • A disciplined approach to development, documentation and file structure
  • Excellent sense of visual design
  • Strong communication skills


Bonus Points:

  • Academic background in computer science (BSc or MSc)
  • Familiarity with CSS Authoring frameworks.
