Your Mission

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets

Sales Development Representative

Overview

Are you looking to expand your career? Are you a self-driven individual who enjoys competition? Do you have previous sales experience or a high interest to start a career in sales? Awesome, let’s talk!

 

Your First 6 Months

  • Execute outbound prospecting at a high pace (60-80 calls/emails per day)
  • Work closely with the team to achieve your monthly goals from qualified outbound prospecting
  • Master and engage prospects with industry knowledge and Yottaa’s value proposition
  • Conduct territory research to identify key accounts, stakeholders, and use high impact messaging
  • Accurately and reliably log activity and account data using Salesforce
  • Team up with Account Executive(s) to develop territory plans and strengthen pipeline

 

6-18 Months

  • Continue growing your career within Sales on the path set for you to carry a quota
  • Work closely with your Account Executives to understand the entire Sales Cycle
  • Maintain consistent prospecting activity while achieving each quarterly quota
  • Train to continue the path within Sales or Management within a Team Lead Role

Your Role

We are looking for an Engineering Director to manage the day-to-day efforts of Yottaa’s Engineering team. You will report into the VP Products, working alongside Product Management and Operations. The candidate will be involved in growing, mentoring, & managing 15+ team members across 5+ project teams. The candidate must have experience working in multiple disciplines, including large data processing across multiple data sets within highly distributed, high performance systems. The position requires significant cross-team collaboration within the Engineering team but also with Yottaa’s Infrastructure & Operations team.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in management position (Manager, Senior Manager, or Director)
  • Ability to recruit, hire, and manage performance of the engineering staff
  • Experience managing hybrid teams (local vs. remote, employee vs. contract)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum and project tracking
  • Ability to identify & drive best practice process changes for code development, quality assurance, & release management, including but not limited to code reviews, check-in requirements, automated regression processes, & code coverage
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, & project management skills

 

Technology & Domain Knowledge:

Yottaa maintains a complex and highly distributed SaaS platform. The candidate should possess some level of domain knowledge in any number of the following areas:

  • Networking technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP & DNS
  • SDLC tools such as Github, Jira, Jenkins, & Puppet

  • Messaging systems such as Kafka, Zookeeper, & RabbitMQ

Technical Account Manager

This role is paramount to the customer success initiatives at Yottaa to drive adoption and expansion in the market. This individual will be responsible for working with top customers from a functional, technical how-to and best practice recommendations on and related to the Yottaa platform. TAM responsibilities for post-deployment support and guidance include:

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep relationships within customer accounts
  • Stay abreast of all strategic customer initiatives
  • Help the customer with value realization across all the various Yottaa platform areas
  • Keep customers informed of new functionality in upcoming product releases and develop a roadmap for successful adoption of the latest enhancements through testing
  • Review open incidents, problems and feature requests and escalate as appropriate internally at Yottaa
  • Measure and report on customer satisfaction by meeting with key customer stakeholders to understand challenges and successes
  • Create/manage a monthly customer webinar series working with Yottaa Marketing, Support and Client Services
  • Work with the Yottaa Marketing team to report on customer success stories and opportunities to promote other marketing initiatives

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the CDN and/or ecommerce domains
  • Technical background in Web development, DNS, hosting, web operations, web security and application performance monitoring
  • Experience including a successful track record of multi-tasking several projects and working as part of a cross-functional team
  • Experience with escalation management with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience interfacing with and presenting to both business and technical teams
  • Experience assisting the customer to identify and report on measurable results that highlight value of the efficiencies gained and business challenges overcome utilizing the Yottaa platform
