Yottaa Highlights The Impact Of Content Orchestration To Optimize Web And Mobile Apps And Maximize Customer Experiences
Leading Web and Mobile Optimization Provider Reveals Q1 Web Performance Poll Results and Publishes Case Study on Content Orchestration to Optimize Modern eCommerce Apps
Waltham, MA— February 29, 2016— Yottaa, the leading cloud platform for optimizing web and mobile applications, today published a case study illustrating why perceived speed is critically important to user experiences, and how content orchestration maximizes that perception. The case study follows the company’s Q1 eCommerce industry poll on the state of web and mobile performance and personalization. For the poll, Yottaa surveyed hundreds of eCommerce business leaders to determine how their investments in web and mobile applications, user experience, personalization, and targeting have resulted in improved cross-device customer experiences. Yottaa shared those results with attendees of this year’s eTail West conference in Palm Springs, CA from February 22nd-24th.
Yottaa recently announced the launch of the Customer Experience Index, or CEXi, to measure and quantify how successful businesses are in creating cross-device experiences by evaluating three key elements of their applications:
- Performance
- Parity
- Performance Power
The company also recently posted an infographic illustrating the relationship between these elements and how they factor into the index. This index was used as a basis to poll eCommerce leaders on the investments they have made in desktop and mobile user experience optimization and both the perceived and practical outcomes of those investments. Yottaa then shared those results with eTail West conference attendees at its booth.
“The key takeaway for us and the business leaders who participated in our survey was that business strategies to maximize customer acquisition and retention are in direct conflict with IT and Operations strategies to ensure the highest quality of service,” said Ari Weil, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Yottaa. “While every eCommerce business is striving to build a strong, differentiated, and trusted brand, and both the line of business and IT agree that quality of service – the combination of availability, speed, and security – is a key component in that effort, the need for actionable insight and agility, and the rise of MarTech and client-side technologies continue to create significant tension and challenge stability.”
To further support these findings, Yottaa recently hosted a webinar with Mike Frazzini, Chief Technology Officer of eBags, together with Internet Retailer. Entitled “eBags Rewrites the Holiday Playbook: How to Elevate Customer Experience and Drive Revenue” the webinar highlighted some of the challenges modern eCommerce businesses face in building scalable, speedy, and secure online experiences when business and IT strategies collide. The webinar featured a case study on how eBags’ switched from a legacy content delivery network to Yottaa’s optimization platform and the impact on desktop, tablet, and mobile conversion rates following a changed strategy from edge caching to contain orchestration.
