  • Conveys sense of urgency in order to drive action.
  • Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com.

We are seeking a high-energy manager to lead our growing team of over a dozen Inside Sales Reps (ISRs) and Business Development Reps (BDRs).

This is a new role reporting to the SVP Sales in our downtown Boston headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and fire ISRs and BDRs
  • Manage and motivate team from initial prospect qualification to closing deal
  • Develop and coach individual team members to meet or exceed key metrics
  • Work hands on with sales team to help close large deals
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Finance to increase sales productivity
  • Rapidly reiterate on process designs and messaging to constantly improve results
  • Forecast, track and measure lead generation activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years’ experience managing BDRs and ISRs
  • Additional 5+ years prior experience in a sales role
  • Experience selling business-to-business, technology products or services
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and new business prospecting goals
  • Experience with best practices for measuring team effectiveness
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, sales/marketing automation tools, Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications:

  • Experience selling subscription with annual contract values of $10,000 or more.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas in a high volume, phone-based environment.
  • Articulate and persuasive communicator.
  • Detailed oriented with strong reliance on CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred).

Bonus Points:

  • Experience selling ecommerce platforms, website monitoring, or CDN services.
  • Owning and maintaining your own website.
  • Prior experience with early-stage technology companies.

Yottaa is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer as part of the core team to help build our best of breed global SaaS service. We look for people who are passionate about creating a reliable, scalable, automated, global service that can deliver the best service to our customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in hands-on development efforts of systems automation architecture, infrastructure, and process using tools such as Puppet and Chef.  Train Operations staff on how to best use these tools.
  • Build and maintain a world-class, global systems infrastructure delivering 100% reliability and the best performance possible
  • Ensure cost-effective service delivery by automating critical processes, including server deployment, configuration, monitoring, and problem resolution.  Ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry best practices.
  • Assist with capacity planning and scalability to ensure systems are optimized for continuous growth.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, day shift and occasional weekends.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ minimum experience in similar roles.
  • Strong experience with Linux system administration, including automated installation and provisioning, shell scripting, and monitoring.  Expert-level knowledge of Puppet, Chef or other automation technologies.
  • Exposure to Cassandra and MongoDB technologies, their benefits and risks.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of web server technologies including Apache, nginx, SSL, Varnish, Squid, or related projects.
  • Solid understanding of what actually makes a website work, including DNS, CDNs, and networking.
