Overview:

The Director of SecOps will be responsible for data and web security across Yottaa’s Adaptive CDN SaaS environment and enterprise. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SaaS architectures and Internet security, and have experience managing a globally distributed architecture. Yottaa is looking for a results-oriented leader who can deliver results that drive the company’s Security roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a culture of Security
  • Develop a world class Security Operations team that partners with Engineering, Operations and IT
  • Create and maintain a security event processing system, expanding the usage of security monitoring tools to secure environments and facilitate secure business processing in a threat landscape, to identify root causes and affect efficient remediation
  • Assist in the design of new security products that will support Enterprise customer and partner requirements
  • Provide reporting and metrics around security monitoring by designing dashboards for asset owners and management consumption. Leverage existing technologies within the organization to expand the scope of coverage of the security monitoring service
  • Ensure remediation of security vulnerabilities across the Yottaa environments
  • Provide first level response for security events that occur in the environment. The event management includes triage, correlation and enrichment of individual events to either rule out as false positive, trigger standard detective and corrective responses, or escalating as a security incident
  • Recommend security architecture standards; analyze business impact and exposure based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and risks
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the information security strategy
  • Help developing training materials for general security awareness and specific security technology training

 

Qualifications:

  • You must be an experienced, energetic, engaging and visionary leader
  • 5 years of full-time work experience in information security operations
  • Strong scripting experience
  • Direct the development, implementation, and management of 24x7 security monitoring infrastructure and ensure that all applicable systems are appropriately monitored
  • Understand securing public and private cloud environments
  • Building a security operations center
  • Knowledge of OWASP, Modsecurity, SIEM technologies, log management tools, security analytics platforms, and forensic offerings
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, ISSAP, CISM a plus
  • Industry experience with SSAE 16, SOC II, HIPPA a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills

We are looking for a senior java developer to work in our backend platform team. The candidate must have exceptional skills in multi-disciplines including highly distributed systems, NoSQL databases, DNS, and networking. If you have skills or experience in HTML parsing, Javascript, CSS, big data, or web site optimization is a bonus.

 

You will work with the team to design and develop new and innovative features or enhance existing ones in support of Yottaa’s web site optimization SaaS service. You will work as an individual contributor, with the opportunity to lead project team as required. The position will also require cross team collaboration with the front-end portal team as well as mentoring & knowledge sharing with other members of the team.

 

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Java - 6+ years developing in java
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
  • Understanding of messaging architectures / enterprise integration patterns. (e.g. Kafka, Rabbit MQ)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Big Data technologies like Pig, Hive, Zookeeper, and YARN.
  • Experience with highly concurrent multi-threaded systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP, HTTP and DNS
  • Experience in complex development projects – as individual contributor and/or lead
